Our first turkey egg of 2009 and it was a big one.

We have a mature trio of Bourbon Red Turkeys and two poults.
Franklin, is the tom, named after Ben Franklin who wanted the national bird to be the turkey rather than the eagle. The two hens are Franny and Sally, the names of Ben Franklin's daughters. We don't know the gender of the two poults yet, if girls, their names are Annie and Allie. If one is a male, Benji.
